Creating Custom Tutus

Custom-made tutus are constructed according to professional theater standards. Matching tunics are also available. All costumes can be embroidered with your design or a stock design. All bodices are constructed using couture techniques and the finest quality fabrics. Bodices can be made separately, or as a bodice and basque one piece. (Kirov style) The basque is made using the same standards and fabric as the bodice. It's the upper part of the tutu panty. The basque is a piece that sits from the waist to high on the hip (like a tight setting band). It is also the piece that attaches the bodice to the tutu skirt giving the costume structure. All tutu skirts are made with the finest quality stiff net and fine tulle. Each skirt has 3 to 10 layers of tulle and/or net. All of our skirts can be attached to a tulle or cotton panty and the crotch is covered with ruffles.
