Your measurements should be taken by a PROFESSIONAL.    You should wear a tight fitting leotard to your fitting.  A tutu bodice is a snug fitting garment made like a second skin. After we receive your measurements, your costume will be custom made. Your tutu or costume will be constructed based on your  measurements you provide.  It is your responsibility to make sure  that these measurements are correct and  the person that is doing the measuring & fitting has experience. Tutus By Edna will not be responsible for incorrect fit if the measurements are not taken correctly!  No refunds will be issued for the cost of your tutus or costume  if incorrect measurements are provided to us.  If you have any questions regarding how to take your measurements, please call us at 813- 785-3177.

How to take measurements

Be aware that wearing no bra versus a strapless  bra can make quite a difference in measurements.

Step 1.  Get a measuring tape, a pencil and paper. Wearing a leotard, tie a string around you waistline.
Step 2.  Relax and don't pull the tape too tight.  You want to measure your normal posture.
Step 2. Draw the tape around the  part of the body you are measuring.  Make sure the tape is taut but not tight, and it is flat, not twisted.  Write down the measurement where the tape meets itself.
Step 3. Repeat this for all other parts of the body.  That's all!
